Good Morning,
The Purposeful Prayer Partners are ADDING their forth topic this week.
Praying for the Homeless. As we are preparing for our first snow storm this weekend, my heart is heavy with the thoughts of knowing we have so much homelessness in our world.
1 John 3:17-18, NIV If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
I am so proud of the Phoenixville community for opening their new shelter to the homeless. Below is the information on the Winter Warm Center. If you would like to volunteer, read information below:

WINTER WARMING CENTER
The Winter Warming Center is now open at the Sacred Heart Church Hall from 8pm to 8 am Monday through Sunday throughout the winter months.
We are seeking adult volunteers for our
8 p.m. to 12 o’clock midnight shift and our 12 a.m. (midnight) to 8 a.m. shift. We can also do a 12 to 4 a.m. and 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. Volunteers work with the staff person to welcome our guests, offer them tea or coffee, a simple dinner, light breakfast and get them settled in for the night. In the morning volunteers help the guests to get their items together, provide toiletries, assist in getting the hall back in order for other daytime uses.
This program is a ministry of presence and community support. Ann’s Heart Inc., St. Ann Parish, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Good Samaritan Shelter, Orion Communities, People to People, Alianzas of Phoenixville, Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville Community Health Foundation and others in our community are making this program happen. It provides a warm and welcoming place for our neighbors in need.
You can help by volunteering your time, cooking a home cooked dinner meal to be served to our guests, donating items needed for the Center or donating to Ann’s Heart Inc.
Please contact annsheart2014@gmail.com to volunteer your time or obtain additional information. Thank you and stay warm this winter. We can all do a little something for our community and our neighbors.
