Good Morning Everyone,
This past week I was on the road traveling more than usual. I am a very blessed woman.  I realize that I can walk to work, and I do not have to deal with a lot of highway driving. Most of my life I have had jobs that was in walking distance.  I was traveling on I-95 this weekend and experienced road rage and it was a wakeup call to me.  People are on the road with anger in the hearts and no patience, and the smallest uncomfortable situation causes them to go off the head. We really need traveling mercies prayers to get us to and from our destinations.   It is not safe on the roads today with so many people in life facing many different crisis in their lives and in such a hurry to get where they are going.    Because of my experience this week I would like to add prayer for people that have anger in the hearts and are on the road and causing Road Rage.

James 1:19-20 – Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
Proverbs 29:11 – A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.

Yesterday was a very sad day. In the news there was a 16–year old student beaten in the bathroom and was killed. Attached is a new report from the Delaware online News Journal. 
A 16-year-old student has died after she was assaulted at Howard High School of Technology Thursday morning, Wilmington police said.
Friends and sources close to the investigation identified her as Amy Inita Joyner-Francis, a sophomore at the high school.
Detectives from the homicide and violent crimes unit were interviewing multiple students who were considered persons of interest in the assault, according to a source close to the investigation. Two female students were taken to police headquarters for further questioning, police Chief Bobby Cummings said. Police said they do not believe anyone outside the school was involved.
"My heart bleeds for the family," said Mayor Dennis Williams at a press conference at the high school Thursday. "Things like this shouldn't happen."
Officers were called at about 8:18 a.m. to the high school in the 400 block of East 12th Street, police said. High School Principal Stanley Spoor said the assault of the 10th-grader from New Castle occurred in the women's bathroom as classes were starting. Further details on the assault were not released by police.
 
What is the world coming to, are kids are not safe in school. Go to school to be killed instead of learning. My heart and prayers go out the families and the community. Safe Schools is the topic to   add this week.

Hello Everyone,
 
This week topic I would love to express my feeling about time. I read a book about 20 years ago and it changed my life. It was call "It's About Time" Getting Control of Your Life by Ken Smith. The book is about discovering God's plan for you, avoiding over commitments, managing your time, overcoming procrastination, and making time for your family and yourself. . I did not realize how precious time was and how God viewed how we spent our time. TIME, it is the one thing in LIFE that we will not get back. How do we spend our time, who we spend our time with and do we take time out for the most important thing in our lives (GOD). WOW it made me stop take inventory of my life. I assess what and who was important in my life and to ask myself was I spending quality time with them. The knowledge and what learned gave me a new outlook on my life that was so amazing. I am a changed person now because time management is a huge part of my life in setting goals for myself. It is truly a huge asset in our lives that we do not take the time to realize how valuable time is and how we spend it each day.  
One of the most important things in life we can do to help our relationship with GOD is spending time alone with him in the word and prayer. Your relationship will only grow if you spend time with him.
 
Adoring God by spending time
Confessing to God any sins you have committed
Thank God for everything that he has done and going to do for you
Supplication with prayers for your life and the lives of others
 
You cannot love God, if you do not spend Time, to get to know him.
 
Choose a Place, Plan, and Time in the Word
Keep it Fresh and meaningful
Read the Word, Listen to Worship Music, or even take a Prayer Walk
There are so many ways we can spend time alone with GOD
 
Getting to Know and Love God Better will complete your life in such an unspeakable joy.

Good Morning Everyone,
It is April 1st, winter is gone and spring is here. I cannot believe where the time is going.  Each week I choose a new topic for prayer based on my experiences throughout the week. Yesterday I experience something from a friend that I had to address. It happens often and I really had not dealt with it. Yesterday my friend raised their voice in a loud tone to tell me that I had said I was going to do something, in which was not true. They were very stern with me regarding what they thought agreed to do.  I told them in a very soft tone voice to calm down, I told them that they must have misunderstood and that we could talk about it calmly. I realized the disrespect that I had been shown and was not willing to allow people to treat me like a child. I am an adult and appreciate when people understand that making one feel uncomfortable by their actions and the way they present their selves when speaking to someone in which they do not agreed. My friend realized that they need to calm down in order to get my attention for me listen to what they had to say. This incident has cause me to look inward at myself because I have a very loud and expressive personality and it may come across at times as disrespected. I never want to come across to anyone that way. So to add to the prayer list this week is respect for others. The tone we use in our voices to speak to one when we do not agree has its way of coming across with the wrong message to the other person.
