Good Morning Everyone,
It is a beautiful morning, sounds of birds out of my window, life is so good. The freedom we have to enjoy beautiful sounds in our lives. Sounds like a little thing, but it is not. It is huge to understand what takes place in order for us to have those freedoms. Listening to beautiful sounds in the morning is very special to me. Knowing in this world it is not like that in all places. How often do we think about and men and women who serve in our county and are in war zones in the world and deal with gunshots and noise of the enemies. We need to remember on a daily basis we have the freedom because of them. This week on Memorial’s Day we honored and celebrated the lives of men and women who lost lives to serving our county. This week I would like to add to the prayer list, prayers for our men and women each day as they are protecting and serving our county on our behalf. Praying for their families and the veterans that come home wounded from war. My concern is that this county is not doing enough to help veterans and we should feel some kind of way after knowing the sacrifice they have made to protect and serve us. My role is that I can continue to pray for them and ask that you join me in prayer for our men and women serving and who have already served our county to protect us.
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.””
Psalm 91:9-12 “If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.”
